USA-BOPS' Derrick Climber is designed to assist an individual in climbing the derrick ladder by offsetting the climber's wieght with a counter balance. The purpose of the "adjustable weight" counter balance is to reduce the amount of energy required to climb the derrick, thereby leaving the climber more energy to preform the necessary tasks.

USA-BOPS' Derrick Climber was not designed as a hands-free elevator system, and should never be depended upon in a life-threatening situation as a safety device!

USA-BOPS' Derrick Climber Assembly comes complete with sufficient cable for the counter balance and guide wire, double clamps for each connection, snatch block, counter balance, safety hook and chain, climbing belt and complete installation instructions.
