USA-BOPS provides replacement seals to fit Shaffer Annular Type Blowout Preventers both as individual seals and as complete seal kits.

USA-BOPS seals are lip type seals and are made to seal against moving parts, such as the piston, as it raises and lowers in the BOP body.

USA-BOPS seal kits do not come with wear band material since it does not require replacing each time a blowout preventer is repaired. However, wear band material is available to complement seal kits upon request.

Wear bands prolong the life of the piston as it wears against the cylinder. It also contributes to the life expectancy of the replacement seals.

USA-BOPS also provides replacement packing units and other blowout preventer products for Shaffer Annular and Ram Type preventers.
